__________________________________________________________________________________ Cowboy Bebop - The Real Folk Blues __________________________________________________________________________________ _______________________________________________________________________comments___ | | | Revised tablature from transcription by George Garcia (Edgecrusherg77@AOL.com) | | | | Garcia had it correct, in terms of chords, however he was missing | | a chord (Cmaj7 = C chord including the 7th note of the C major scale¹) | | In addition, I rearranged very subtly the timing of the chords with the | | lyrics to match them up exactly. Albeit, it wasn't necessary; I found it | | to be of my particular wont to be concise; punctual, if you will. | | | | - With all due respects, | | Samuel J. | | | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- _____________________________________________________________________________________ Terms & Symbols _____________________________________________________________________________________ [Capo] - A device, most often a clamp of some sort, used to easily change the tuning of a guitar and inadvertantly transpose the key of a song. e.g. standard tuning = E A D G B E. With a Capo on II then this changes all of the open strings to F# B E A C# F#) While Garcia does, and I must say quite professionally at that, include the chord names relative to the capo on the guitar and the actual chords themselves, in a majority of cases regarding notation this is not done. It is implied that when playing a chord- for instance an Em- with a Capo on II will automatically transpose the chord two half-steps (frets) higher in pitch. ¹ For more info on chord theory, Please request such from animetabs admin SJ (sljohnson12@live.com) KEY TO SYMBOLS x - repeation of the preceding note h - hammer p - pull s - slide (#)- Ghost note = a note that is still audibly heard from a previous chord or measure.
